Jam Haven Mexico is based at Casa Angelitos – a botique hotel on the hill overlooking San Miguel de Allende with an immense collection or original folk art, tranquil ambiance, and stunning views of town. Each of the 12 guest rooms are themselves eclectic works of art in the traditional style of the region.

The owners of Casa Angelitos, Roger and Rosanna, maintain their own organic farm, and all meals are fully organic and literally "farm-to-table".

The center of San Miguel de Allende is easily accessible by a 15 minute walk or a short cab ride.

Booking

Book your hotel early to assure you have a room, as there are only 12 rooms.

You may wish to come a day early (on Saturday) to acclimate to the altitude (we are in the mountains) and be on time for the “opening music and cacao ceremony” on Sunday. If you do arrive on Saturday, Roger can give you suggestions for restaurants and sights to see.

Getting to Jam Haven

The nearest airport is Querétaro (QRO). You can then take a 90-minute shuttle bus to San Miguel.

Alternately, the Mexico City airport (MEX) is a 4-hour shuttle bus to San Miguel.

Another possibility is to fly to Cancun, spend a few nights at the beach, then fly on the Via or Volaris airlines from Cancun to Querétaro.

You can take the Bajiogo Airport Shuttle from QRO airport directly to Casa Angelitos for about $35.

Local Transportation

The central part of San Miguel de Allende is vibrant area of shops and restaurants around the central catheral. This area is a 15 minute downhill walk on cobblestone streets from Casa Angelitos, or an inexpensive taxi ride. Note that the return walk is uphill (around 250ft of elevation gain) and the taxi ride back to Casa Angelitos is also inexpensive.
